The17th Congress-Exhibition EUROCOAT 2009 for Paints, Varnishes, Inks and Adhesives Industries, comes again to Spain. It will be organized by UATCM and AETEPA, on the grounds of FIRA BARCELONA newest facilities, the area Gran Via.

The Organizing Committee is now opening the call for papers. This Congress, is intended to be a forum of communication and discussion about the last developments on basic research, new products and technologies, tests and applications, manufacture, ecology, environmental norms and restrictions related to Coatings industrial sector. EUROCOAT 2009 Congress will be the debate tribune for all people, institutions, groups and unions that are interested on the technical and scientific aspects of paint and coatings world. Enforcing the idea initiated during EUROCOAT 2006 in Barcelona and pursued in Genoa’s EUROCOAT 2007, we are going to give the floor to all or most of its leading actors.

Modalities
The presentations will be oral communications of 25 minutes, including 5 minutes for discussion. Full text will be published in the Congress Proceedings (CD). The text need to be in accordance with the usual conditions of high level of innovation, not being published previously and clearly written according to standards, with commercial references at a minimum.

Official languages:
Official languages will be Spanish and English.

Deadlines:
Before March 31st, 2009. Reception, by post or electronic mail, of pre-inscription Bulletin including lecture title, author names, language to be used and a summary of max.10 lines in English and Spanish. The acknowledgement will be sent quickly, together with the guidelines for the written text, in order to be published in the Proceedings of the Congress
(CD).
Before June 30th, 2009. Reception by post of full text and graphics in CD (Word) and additional impression on paper.
Before June 30th, 2009. Reception of inscription form to the Congress. The author who appears in the first place, or
the speaker, will enjoy a reduction of 50% in the corresponding inscription fees.
